Wow the OLED dark is great. Is it possible to make it so the top UI bar and bottom UI bar to both completely disappear when you scroll down? And then comes back when you scroll up? With just the contents remaining when you navigate down a page. Similar to the reader mode on a webpage in safari. Also is it possible to apply the same font size eg. 160% of normal, to twitter or other text based media embeds? Otherwise everything is nice and big but then you have to squint at the tiny twitter texts. Keep up the awesome work

When it is the comments can pane can move around which seems weird. It’s not a huge deal but it does feel weird.

I’ve always assumed image problems had to do with a limited number of API calls to imgur. It works every time near the beginning of the month then stops working near the end of the month. It’s likely that last time you tried was near the end of April and now it works because we are only 5 days into May.

So I've started updating my .NET SA Parser and coming up with ways to generate forum templates. I took the posts-view css as a baseline, replaced the '.iphone' and '.ipad' entries with CSS Media Queries, and embed the full custom title HTML to show if it has space to be viewed. I got it working in my code, so I backported those changed to Awful.app so I could see it easily on my iPhone and iPad. Here's the full video I'm not sure if you want to show the full Custom HTML there or not, but it might be an area worth exploring, instead of having CSS values in place based on platform.

Incredibly minor thing - when I open a user profile because I want to see their avatar text or whatever, I need to click "done" to make it go away. It would be nice if any of the "usual" things would work for this, either dragging down to dismiss it, clicking anywhere outside the profile, or swiping from the left edge of the screen. Swiping down (not in the scrollable window ofc) might make the most sense since that's where it shoots off to when you hit "done" anyways.

I haven’t thought much about how I prioritize various Awful bugs, but for some reason “unnecessarily scrolls horizontally” is like one notch below “can’t scrape posts”. Speaking of ad hoc prioritization, I’m thinking it will soon be time to bump Awful’s minimum required iOS version. Now, I have no actual timeline in mind. And don’t fret: if/when it happens, the then-current version will continue to work for a long time (assuming the Forums doesn’t completely change). That said, if anyone who’s stuck on iOS 9 or iOS 10 has a particular bug or feature they’d love to see some action on, no matter how often or infrequently it gets mentioned here, post it! And I’ll see what I can do.

It’s been “off” a bit since the OLED theme was added. Not enough for me to complain, but enough to notice. I need to do some testing to see if it’s theme dependent like last time or not.

I think there's some longstanding issue here that's never quite gone away. I was getting annoyed at the delay after tapping (the delay is to wait for you to double-tap, which I never do so it's pretty useless to me). It came about as a side effect of allowing zooming, but it's actually really easy to turn off, so that'll be in the next version.
