that elim was dogshit Silky's runway is bad, literally falling apart at the seams, half the girls say send her home, then her lipsynch is extremely messy. Nina's runway was at least well-constructed and had a good theme, her lipsynch was boring but not aggressively bad like Silky's. lol at Silky's wig toss, almost tripping over her falling-apart outfit, then she does the splits and I'm mentally playing sad trombone edit: I actually would've put Yvie in the bottom with Silky, it would be pretty justified and then you could watch Yvie crush Reverend Dr. Assaulting Guest Judges Pellisworth fucked around with this message at 21:06 on May 10, 2019 |

Me and my husband were both REALLY expecting a double sashay after the double save earlier, but when it was Silky over Nina we were pretty pissed off. What I never understand with these choices is why the editing doesn't back up Ru's choice, which makes me think it's all producer poo poo-stirring bullshit, which I bloody hate. The edit just emphasised how Silky didn't know the lyrics and was super messy and that her wig reveal was unceremoniously delivered to the back of the stage. Speaking of things I hate, this moment in Whatcha Packin' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPNDVh2iCpo&t=405s Michelle Visage really tears down Plastique for saying it was expensive to go on Drag Race and then she claims you don't need lots of money to do drag when they constantly, CONSTANTLY criticise Yvie's drag for being unpolished. Polish takes money. You simply can't cut it with good concepts anymore, it all has to be elevated. It sucks. Yvie's concept this week was cool and interesting but it wasn't expertly put together and for that she was almost in the bottom two. Ross Mathews criticised Brooke Lynn Hytes' drag for having no edge and in the same episode criticised Yvie for not being polished enough which now means that everyone needs to be like Aquaria - wear envelope pushing fashion, executed perfectly. I'm so sad Nina is gone, her drag was campy but I liked it for at least being different. Jinkx couldn't win Drag Race anymore.

Nina made her mark, I think anyone can see what a great entertainer she is and how awesome her shows must be. Okay I finally watched it and I gotta be honest I don't even think Nina should have been in the bottom 2 (though I hated Shuga's wig). I think Yvie and Silky were clearly the two worst runways. Even if I loved Scarlet trying to mimic the Yvie laugh. Rigga Morris, gurl. This show has kind of gotten worse in a lot of ways since moving to VH1. I don't think I've hated a queen as much as I hate Silky since Phi Phi way back in season 4. Someone who is both so aggressively mean, and so aggressively delusional. As irritating and frustrating as Eureka was most of the time last season, she at least still had her moments. (although, I did just remember the story of a friend who was harassed by Eureka after he turned her down for a date, so gently caress Eureka too.) God gently caress this show tonight. Ru Paul hosed up big time. What a goddamn joke that was. There was no way in hell Nina lost that - it wasn’t fancy but at least she wasn’t tripping in her own loving costume. At least the loving thing stayed together. Jesus Christ I’ve never been so infuriated with an episode before like this. Pure bullshit. I hope Silky is booed at the finale. She’s a loving liar. She’s a poo poo queen. Vanjie was robbed - the backwards “Miss Vanjie” chant was the goddamn cherry on top of a gorgeous sundae. Like, Brooke was fine - give Vanjie a goddamn bone before you toss her. Akeria stirring poo poo got on my nerves. It was disgusting. Runway was zzzzzz. Looked cheap. Yvie ... like, it was cool - but Scarlet did get the poo poo hand me downs. I loving hate these queens piling on her tho. Just jealous. I’ll miss Nina - I hope I can give her a big hug when they come here. Onto the next one tho... E:

Ru absolutely did not put Yvie in the bottom because she's seen her slay a lipsync before and didn't want to run the very possible risk of her sending Silky's rear end home. Scientific objective fact, I can prove it on an abbacus and a sundial, I hold this truth to be self-evident, etc. Brooke Lynn won everything because of the "Oooh, you feel like a waterbed" joke, GODDAMN.
