Katy hasn't appeared in Riverdale (although Josie is moving to the spinoff). She's a supermodel character who as far as I know has never interacted with the Archie crew outside of background cameos; she had her own title and it was along the lines of Marvel's Millie the Model, or the original Patsy Walker comics.

Seems to just be about a reemergence of heroes in the world in the modern day, like the comic was about a new 80's generation following their silver age. I inferred that there's a police vs Rorschach gang war on and this is the first rise of vigilantism since the comic. America might be a police state, if that thing around the Washington monument is a futuristic watchtower. The police have taken on the appearance of heroes and vigilantes, presumably after they stamped them out completely. Beat cops wear masks and more elaborately costumed people (silver face man and the black woman) are maybe detectives. Guessing the costumed girl with the sheriff's badge is gonna be our main character and turn from the police towards the new gen of Watchmen. I really hated anything with Matt pushing Karen and Foggy away. I've always really liked Daredevil's supporting cast. Which is kind of the opposite of Spider-Man. I could care less the amount we see of MJ or Aunt May.

I split the difference and like Foggy but not Karen. Moreover, I like Matt when he's not being self-destructive. I get that that's part of Daredevil, but I don't think it was written well.

Well, the latest episode of Cloak & Dagger was loving intense. I really liked that Tandy had basically managed to rescue herself, to the point where she'd probably have been fine even if Tyrone hadn't shown up (although it's good he did, that teleport kick was loving awesome). And that Aunt Chantelle basically fukcing no-sold D'Spayre's bullshit. And managed to trick him into unknowingly telling Mayhem how his powers worked so she could steer Tyrone back onto the right track and stop him from controlling all the girls he'd previously taken by smashing the records. I wouldn't be surprised if her using the records is also why Tyrone's powers went all screwy, because she's trying to find a way back out. I'm beginning to wonder if Connors is maybe backsliding, considering he was seemingly looking to escape. Anyway, looking forward to the next episode where our heroes play an arcade game against Baron Samedi to maybe save Tyrone's soul? And I love that this is a show where I can say that as a sentence.
