Yeah but it's wildfire, if the old king was gonna blow up the city with it you'd think there'd be enough that the 6 or 7 green explosions we see would trigger the whole city to blow. I actually thought that was what had happened when it cut to Arya waking up on 9/11

They used up the stores of wildfire, first for the Battle of Blackwater Bay, then when Cersei blew up the Sept of Baelor. I think the explosions were the last of it, with the idea being there wasn't enough of it to be useful to the King's Landing forces. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into bad writing and the FX team thought it'd just be a "nice touch."

Writers round table: how to get Jamie and Urine together. Ideas? 1. Jamie find him in bed with Cersei when he sneaks in. Fighting naked means crippled Jamie has an advantage. 2. He stalked Jamie and Cersei as they escape they fight and banter over baby in front of her. She does the first thing ever in the series and throws a rock or something to distract him. Pretty good, but what if...he falls of a boat. Luck's into finding Jamie. Murders him good but forgets to keep fighting for no reason and gets stabbed? Brilliant. Let's shoot it for $14 and 8 months.
