   I have come to the conclusion that PACOM hates New Zealand. Its the only reason for this.  Today we have an escort but no bombers. Just for a change.   What. The. gently caress.  This is more towards the norm, but still in my favour.  Planes continue to fall from the skies.   So no epic carrier duel, just murder of their air force.  Okay, now your just trolling me.

So in Shattered Sword, the authors describe Nimitz as a man who burdened his commanders with unfailing trust in their ability to shoulder the burdens assigned to them. Nimitz doesn't hate New Zealand. Nimitz trusts New Zealand to be the most badass supermen out there, and he will thrust them at the enemy again and again until they live up to that trust.

  They actually have two task forces unloading here now.  The lads at Guam keep up a good show.  I start clearing the ground.  There is going to a Vietnam style anti war film about the poor bastards who are forced to fly into this every day.  These numbers are bad for the Allies.

That ground combat at Ndeni is weird. Allies get combat bonuses despite having zero combat troops. Engineers aren't gonna be driving the tanks.

   Take that!  The Allies cotton on to my build up at Guadalcanal. We are only able to get one plane up, and take heavy losses.  We take our revenge further north.  These lightnings don't seem up to much.  Their thunderbolts seem a bit better.  We continue to hit the Kiwis.  The difference in plane losses is now less than a thousand – 933 to be exact, and I hope to close this gap soon.
