What did you use for the shading?
Instead of posting full size with [img] you can use [timg] and the forums will resize for you.

I have a set of Prismacolor markers in 12 shades of grey, don't get them out to try as often as I should.

I'll try the [timg] next time, but I do need to figure out why when I open the images in PS they're sized at 17x10 inches or crazy amounts like that.

Even more than freeware; it's Open Source. You can buy it on Steam to get automatic updates and support the development.

Yeah, I saw it on Steam for $5 and figured why not?

A lot of cameras will take pics at the highest resolution they can, which is usually silly-high-def once you put it onto a 72-dpi screen. I have the same thing, generally I keep a full-size photo for archiving :nerd: and a reduced one for sticking online.

Morning practice thingy, not so fond of it. Something tells me I just need to do more and more and then they will be more natural.

This was a cool pics I wanted to share, cleaning palettes.

Despite you not being too fond of it, I quite ike your nebula!

And holy poo poo at those copics! I can't even process how much that must have cost.

It might be time for me to switch subjects soon. Starting to get tired of animals, now.

Also the Ausgbs thread asked me to paint a lime bong, so I did:

"...a masterpiece that no one can read too often, or admire too much."

I love your painterly style! I want to get into doing things like that sometime. Did you just develop it on your own or did you study other people's things and find your style along the way?

Still learning digital art with Krita. Thought of the weird creature from the Honeycomb commercials almost the whole time.

Thanks. My work has always been better when it’s loose. I guess part of learning the craft is making it look that way even if it isn’t.

What I managed to get done at the park before some guy I've never met before started yelling at me that I was a racist German and Hitler's daughter. I'm looking good for somebody who'd be like 80 years old I guess. :frogc00l:

Process video here; I'm trying to learn more about Leyendecker's shape design and I'm hoping the video will expose any problems I have with how I study that aspect of his work.

I'm on a roll today (not a study)

Tomorrow I'll do some more studies, probably just in pencil this time, then try doing an original while emulating Leyendecker's style, to test myself against what I learned.

edit: ugh that looks so much better when it's just the thumbnail
