The iron throne is now wheelchair accessible is probably the funniest thing to come out of this episode.

What would have redeemed this season would have been if after Jon walks off the screen, there's one final cut to Bran in his Iron Wheelchair. There's a panning shot that swings around in front of him, and he looks at the camera. "When you play the game of thrones, you win or you die." Viva la Vida fades in, Bran smirks and nods. Cut to black.

This episode would have been more interesting if it allowed for the possibility that Jon and Tyrion made the wrong choice. Like, Dany doesn’t go unambiguously crazy in the previous episode and still has genuinely good intentions, but Jon and Tyrion see that she’s set on forever war if that’s what it takes to free the common man, and decide that the cost is too high.

We all just gonna ignore that Pod was wearing Kingsguard armor? Like, does he even know how to swing a sword?

I loved this finale! It felt very satisfying to have them acknowledge the name of the book series, even if it took them all this time. And King Bran - wow! The show is still able to surprise even its die hardest fans! Is anyone else hopeful we'll have a spinoff adventure series with Arya Stark? We never saw the dragon and Dany at the end, either - could it be possible the fire people (I forget their name, but the lady with red hair was one!) manage to bring her back, and she joins Arya? I've been hoping for that for years!! I love fun adventure shows like this that don't take themselves too seriously. #teamarya !!
