Uh well, I should say it's tonally and to some extent aesthetically YKK2. It's not got quite the same atmosphere of wistfulness, I don't think, because the protagonists are on a journey with a specific goal in mind, which wasn't the case with Alpha for most of YKK.

It's undoubtedly the closest thing to YKK I've read, I'll definitely say that. Certainly moreso than Girls Last Tour, for example.

Read it and all I thought was the dog probably wouldn't actually be able to tell the robots apart because they'd be made from the same materials and a dog's visual acuity isn't all that great so the only way it was telling who his master was is by size.
