Amazon preparing a wearable that ‘reads human emotions,’ says report https://www.theverge.com/circuitbreaker/2019/5/23/18636839/amazon-wearable-emotions-report quote:The device, working in sync with a smartphone app, is said to have microphones that can “discern the wearer’s emotional state from the sound of his or her voice.” In a mildly dystopian twist, Bloomberg adds that “eventually the technology could be able to advise the wearer how to interact more effectively with others.”

The only way I got these correct was listening for unnatural intonation, etc. The clips don’t splice together perfectly or sometimes the tone of the voice or the tonal direction of the sentence changes. Otherwise they just all sound like poo poo he would say. And I’m sure tweaking things like autotune and predictive intonation detection will solve that problem. And just micro edits for things like word spacing. And yeah there was definitely an example of abnormally slow cadence in one of those samples that was the real deal.
