I'm not sure how this slipped by everyone until now, but surprising absolutely no one, Jordan Peterson claims that Hitler and Stalin were genocidal maniacs because....their mothers failed them (of course). Because yes, in Hitler's case especially, it's not like anti-semitism was super prevalent in Europe or anything. If only his mommy hugged him more, everything would have been okay.

The evil mother thing ticks his cognitive bias box as he didn't have a great relationship with his. Peterson's opened the floodgates for more bigotry buried under the surface, providing simple answers that tap into his nihilistic / fatalistic views. Everything is now Marxist idiology, like plain packaging cigarettes, same sex marriage, or court cases against slander. These will somehow end western society, which is superior, as it's invented aircon. But he's only borderline incel. There's a naive streak still in him where he thinks he's getting attention because women talk to him. It's very Ralph Wiggum gets a Valentine's card. I suspect a failed relationship or date where he gets called out would tip him over the edge. I hope it doesn't and he learns end accepts life needs a few eggs broken.

He comes off as being even more miserable now then when he was before as ironically hiding his depression behind a cheery appearance sort of forced him to look past the fog. Now he embraces it. He's also around others who are Christians so that has slowly reinforced this naive idea that it creates good people and atheism kills billions.
