I learned that petsmart sells 3 foot long bully sticks called bully canes. She just stared at it for a little bit because she wasnt sure to do with it. She keeps taking a gnaw or two and then going to a different spot. Its funny as hell. Food has finally bested Kedah.

The building materials for the fort are on the couch in the first place because the little guy is post-TPLO surgery (after rupturing his ACL) and we wanted to make sure he doesn't jump up/down from the couch and hurt himself. I made an ottoman as an in-between step from the floor because he refuses to use actual steps we bought him  (also seen in the picture), and blocked off the rest of the couch with cushions and whatnot. The idea was to steer him up the ottoman and onto just one side of the couch while we're out. And that worked, but then he burrows into the cushions and blankets and steps on the other side of the couch, and makes a little nest. Then waits for us to come home, staring at the door from his sniper's nest.

Want to see more photos of puppers in forts. If I recall correctly, Monty also appreciates the value of defensive and comfortable fortifications made out of cushions. Also I think I’m gonna have to make one for Lando and see if he likes it. If so I’ll document it.
