Yeah, I'm good until October 2021. This does make me wonder what happens if you try and redeem cheap regular Live codes now. Whether it errors out or sill adds on. Also if this is true then you get Gears of War Ultimate edition with Ultimate Gamepass rather than the standard edition.

So apparently if you want to make the most of this deal you’ll want to be subbed to as much of xbl gold BEFORE you convert. After you convert if you add XBL Gold codes it “exhanges” them in a way that isn’t 1:1; 1 and 3-month codes give you 2/3 of the time (so a 3-month xbl gold code gives you 2 months of Ultimate) while a 12-month Gold code only gives you 1/3 (4 months of Ultimate). fwiw there might be discounted 3-month xblg codes after the conference.

So I guess unless they add a new category to Microsoft rewards, it's probably best to redeem it for 12month gold gift cards. You can probably earn enough for 12 months in 4 months anyway so you should never have to pay for game pass ultimate.

Though most of the time I wound up stacking came from 3+3 deals. (Buy 3 months and get 3 months free).

I'm tempted to go get a year of Gold and upgrade it, but my soon-to-end 3 months of GamePass yielded about an hour of loving around in Rime and that's about it. Kinda feeling like I'm not going to be gaming on this thing at all in a year. Switch ruined my Xbox for me

I bought a cheap 12 month code and now my xbox live is good until December 2020 with two months of gamepass on top once I convert to ultimate. Though what's the point, because I won't have any data left to download anything because I'm going to use it up watching E3 conferences and Giant Bomb @ Nite streams.

Lot of people gonna tell u exodus is a good game. Not gonna contradict them, but i didnt enjoy much of my 5-6 hours with it and i would not want to play it with controller. I tried one on pc cause i was feeling lazy and it felt bad had to go get my mouse
