Time and again left wing protestors get kettled and smashed with police instigating further violence, which is apparently all above board and in line with police procedure. And time and again nazis and other white supremacists get handled with kid gloves while the police provide them with support and protection. This extends beyond the protests too - it's not even surprising anymore when a leak or FOIA request reveals police are coordinating with white supremacists and nationalists, all the while peaceful left wing groups get infiltrated and spied on by law enforcement. It's disingenuous at best to suggest cops are just doing their darndest within the parameters of the law. How much more evidence do you need to understand that their allegiances lie with the reactionary racists?

If they were a Muslim group, the Cops would be arresting them. White supremacists get a pass in American, and get told their views are protected and valid. That's the difference. These are terrorists, not a group marching to make a valid statement. I still rank openly marching under the flag of a hate/genocide group as screaming fire in a crowded theater levels of illegal antagonism. Theirs no political discourse to be found there. Their 'Free Speech' goals are to gain power, and then destroy freedoms while disenfranchising and murdering those they don't like. Nazis, White Supremacists, and ISIS are all one in the same in my book, and the idea that this is some sort of 1st Amendment thing is laughable.

Could the cops not like, corral the nazis into one protest area or whatever? I get thaat they're (ostensibly) there to keep opposing groups from clashing, but is there not a way to do it so they aren't loving marching alongside actual flag-waving nazis? Some dude at work got fired this week for being an identity europa podcaster and I'm concerned that "good, gently caress 'em" doesn't seem to be a real popular opinion.
