Munich and specifically the western side of it got ravaged by a brief and particularly brutal hailstorm the other day, and I managed to get back home in time to save my plants from complete destruction. They took a whole lot of damage, but four days later, they've mostly recovered.

Here are my two Reapers and a Chocolate Habanero. I was getting ready to trim the top because they were getting a bit tall and branching out too much in the crown, but they took the brunt of the storm on account of sitting on the railing, and the storm took off almost the entirety off the leaves along the main stem, so I guess I'll have to let them grow a little more.

The White Fantasy survived mostly intact due to sitting in the lee-side during the storm. Sorry for the super-bright image, I still need to learn the camera on this new phone.

My Purple Cayenne lost a bunch of leaves on the bottom, but since it has three main branches above it, they mostly survived.

This is my main Lemon Drop, already post-trim. It's bushy as gently caress now that I've trimmed back some of the shredded branches/leaves, and still doing well.

My Cocktail Tomato didn't give the remotest of fucks it seems. It pretty much went "lol how are storms even real, like, just walk away from the wind and keep growing taller"

My baby Red Habanero was too short to get affected by the storm on account of being surrounded by its taller wind-break sisters.

My Hungarian Chilis that I cultivated from a work colleague's chili were chilling (heh) inside and were fine, but of the 23 seeds that took root, only 13 plants actually managed to brave the first transplantation into a new pot. I'm trying to figure out what I hosed up, because the first batch of 11 is the one that is struggling/dying almost entirely, while the second batch, without a single exception, is thriving.

I clicked on TCC on accident when around the time I had started using the awful app. Clicked on the first thread out of reflex. It was the thread of the woman whose husband cooked himself in his car, and she was looking for advise on how to make his OD look natural or something similar.
I've farted a little here and there through there, mostly for the horror factor, but I did find it to be an excellent resource on Kratom, which I was using for pain relief after opioids stopped working.
I like having it around; it's like watching an after school special in real time.

If you think the German palate can't handle hot, I'll add to that by saying I'm also a spice-lightweight that can barely handle Tabasco sauce. But growing chilis is fun and rewarding, I turn most of my harvest into gifts for friends/family/colleagues, and most of what I do is Sriracha-style sauce, pickled chilis, chili powder and strings of dried chilis.

I'm planning on making a homemade ointment for my joints/leg with the Carolina Reapers, there are some interesting recipes out there, and I've had a good experience with Capsaicin-cream in the US, so this might end well, or terribly, I'll report back in two months, I guess.

I remember the workout forums having a lot of mods shilling their online diet/personal trainer/whatever program. One mod had some package that gave you lifetime advice? Not sure. Anyway I guess it was �ok� for a while, then he started being petulant
and not responding to people

Gardening Mexicans use this solution. Smarter ones like my grandma left the bottom on so the water doesn't evaporate.

We grew tomatoes in Kingsville, TX with it. IDK if it's best for you, but it's a good "I might be gone a few days" thing.
