Goddammit, I just saw that seed post on twitter twice and now it shows up here. I knew it would, but I clicked anyway. Thrice I have seen that accursed poo poo. I actually got a little physically ill when I read it. I can look at all the terrible classic internet things all day, but this makes me ill. Whenever people complain about the term "cis" I conclude to myself that they've never taken any organic chemistry. I've had good luck stymieing real life transphobes with that, too, because if nothing else they pride themselves on being Rational and Scientific, and having their rant about "cis" being a non-word derailed with "oh yeah, that's a term that comes up in chemistry all the time, it just means the same side," really throws them for a loop.

Of course the FBI was posting on 8chan. The FBI has been super into “infiltration” since Hoover days. The best thing would be a The Man Who Was Thursday kind of deal, where everyone on 8chan was an agent of something or other. But how would that make anyone less “gitty” (or giddy, for that matter)?
