I've always been angry at people who refuse to give emergency vehicles the right of way, and that anger has doubled if not tripled this year because I found my father on the floor back in February after he had suffered an intracranial and gastrointestinal hemorrhage. Suffice it to say it was not a pretty nor pleasant sight to find, and he died having never regained consciousness. The 7 or so minute wait for the ambulance felt like loving forever, and every time I hear/see an ambulance I can't help but attribute my own experience to those waiting for them to arrive. Good on them

Aren't the non-wild face-eating ones usually also the ones kept in houses by people that try to force them to be forever children? Like if some old lady was making me wear clothes and sit at the table and watch cartoons instead of climbing trees in a wild setting I'd be pretty apt to eat a face too.

Yeah everything about the physiology of them is evolved around maximal functional strength/leverage. Even the tendon/muscle anchor points are more advantageously located for strength/leverage (as opposed to finer dexterity like us). That being said nobody goes farther on less energy than us so they still gotta catch us first!
