Im making a circle with diameter 16 studs using Part 35480 and i have to do it in Stud.io as i don't have enough of them at hand to do it IRL (i have zero of them) I have tried manually buidling a circle which is proving to be virtually impossible. The software is way too fiddly with angle adjustments, and i don't know what angles i should use in the first place. Additionally, if the studs don't match perfectly the software doesn't want to snap them in place, making them look transparent to show there is an error. IRL there is some wiggleroom. Anyone able to calculate the angle of each individual plate so that i can construct this in the software? I want 1 plate at each of the 4 cardinal directions to match up with studs but the rest don't need to. Not really sure how i'd start to calculate something like that myself. Through trial and error it looks like i need 11 of the plates between each of the ones at cardinal directions. That gives an angle of 8,1 degrees, however when i assemble them all at an 8 degree offset they overshoot by like half a studs width, so my math approach is obviously not correct. Also the Porche 911 got confirmed: https://brickset.com/sets/75895-1/1974-Porsche-911-Turbo-3-0 It's basically just a re-release of that green one that was in the Porche bundle. Still kinda tempted to get it even though I have the other one.

I don't rely care about Overwatch but that hamster is cute as hell. Also the fact that the mech actually transforms into a rollable ball is neat.

Yeah I haven't played since they added the hacker lady (Sombra) so I don't know anything about this character, but the actual mechanics of how it transforms has me interested in the set. I still want to get DVa and Reinhardt too.

I know nothing about overwatch and I’m enjoying playing with bastion and his bird friend. The light brick head reminds me of a geth.

I building the old Sopwith Camel "Sculpture" set to make sure it's complete so I can sell it. It came from my folks house, I think it was my dad's? Anyway, some really cool design work on this thing... and a few blatant rule breaks, such as laminating bricks together with stickers. Meaning that you can't FULLY disassemble it. When was the big rule purge? 2005 or so?

I don't think multi-brick stickers have ever been against the rules, it's just something designers try to avoid. But yes, they played fast and loose with connection rules in a lot of the earlier "adult" sets.

They still really push it in some of the UCS Star Wars sets.

If you're talking about 'illegal' connections, the rules were first made in 2002 but there were sets until at least 2007 that broke those rules. Stickers spanning more than one part aren't 'illegal' according to those rules, but they are annoying and I don't think get used any more.

Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout, $49.99 for 389 pieces. I'm fine with the price point personally, but it depends entirely on how much you value the fig.

I wish the big figs were just scaled up minifigures. Like the flash lights. Bigfigs barely count as Legos imo.

I love big fig creatures. That’s what my buddy who collects more adult sets than I do said to me about my Rancor though. He was like “that’s barely LEGO” and I was like shut up man he’s my favorite. I like that raptor so much that I might just buy at T Rex al a carte. I don’t really like any of the T Rex sets much but the big fig is awesome.

Having visited both in Bilund, I can say the Legoland park had good rides, but everything looked a little tired and frayed at the edges. It desperately needs a new lease of life all over the place. The Lego House, by contrast, was a wonderful experience and everything felt new and up to date.
