Apparently teachers assistants in NC are being required to get their CDLs so can also be bus drivers for the schools they’re working on, so at least once those people finish their training and realize that public schools are going to be hiring fewer and fewer teachers over their career they can hop over into trucking instead of education

So it's quite possible he got the license back on a conditional basis, or even got it back completely pending his actual trial. Edit: should have read the article. Yeah the entire trucking industry is crazy desperate for drivers right now. My company is specifically bulk liquid tanks, lots of hazmat and scary "unregulated product". Pretty much anyone that can fog a mirror is good to go. I'm the tank mechanic that fixes the fuckups. Yay job security!

All of that is why I get as high as I can before going into work.
