There is no way Max isn't being penalized with the amount of time this has taken. Nothing was obscured about what happened. There's no need for multiple camera angles not open to the public. The FIA is going to rob Honda of their win. Alonso is probably ecstatic.

The one takeaway I have from this race is that Verstappen seems to be unable to make critical passes without attracting controversy. Ferrari on the other hand continue to impress me with their ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

I think the idea was that they weren't afraid of Danny Ric going past them (he might not even pitted yet at that point?) and sucking Ric after you with DRS would make it harder for Gasly to get past Ric, and they considered Gasly the real threat.
