Slovenia is like really cool. It's like only nation that didn't have a historic fascist state and has, in the present day, no defensive capabilities. It also has huge water reserves and until 80 years ago the nation has routinely suffered genocide and ethnic cleansing. It has a great future ahead of it.

Also, he just pooped out a piece today doubling down ending in a "If you blacks wanted us silent about your concerns, maybe we'd still have slavery today". This is the guy who the president chose to represent Portugal on Cabo Verde btw. That's the power of "not having publically available archives of your writing so people can't dunk on your former work or even show evidence of being a Chud". It was very hard to type this as a transforming lollipop with the word "sucker" stuck on it!

PS's takeover with the other left parties was built from an anti-austerity case, and they're somewhat now the NYT pet for "Here's how you can be a left party, be against austerity politics but play nice with us". They're somewhat closer to the likes of the french socialist party, with constant weird praise of "being a left party, but **mature** and **non-ideological**" from the likes of those that deem any sense of human relief as "electoralism".

get that OUT of my face posted:Portugal: the Florida of Europe? I don't know if I posted this on SA or even on this thread, but during the IMF intervention and election of PSD/CDS to handle that, one of the proposed things was to straight up advertise Portugal as that to invite in more elders from England and so on to retire here since it was a somewhat peaceful place + had decent weather + not as much political strife going on here. I jokingly proposed that to Floridan pals since that's what Portugal did for decades, I never expected until then that there would be an earnest endorsement of that.
