sandman is a GRAPHIC NOVEL actually. and it's VERY cultured because it makes references to stuff i dont get and dont bother looking up because understanding the context wont actually make the writing any better

Gaiman doesn't even do any of his own writing anymore, he just shows up and suddenly whatever he's standing next to appeals to people whose first sexual experience took place while Girl Anachronism played. edit- i do appreciate that Neverwhere set a standard for urban fantasy so all-encompassing literally every other work in the genre is either a ripoff or a rehash.
