I'm assuming that the didn't get into this state by someone purposefully doing the reverse of what is shown in the gif, because that would be stupid and wouldn't happen by accident. Sorry, I get what you're saying now. It sounded like you were saying it was physically impossible. You're right, it's more likely that someone just plopped the desk down...but it's still possible that someone wanted the plug right there, and wanted the loop to keep someone from loving with it and moving it around. Edit: I'm going to post a gif and shut up. aas Bandit has a new favorite as of 04:39 on Jul 21, 2019 |

It's one of those conspiracy theories that ignores so much evidence and relies on soooooo much stupid poo poo that I barely even regard it as one. People that think the earth is hollow and filled with dinosaurs have a better claim than the moon landings being faked.

Really? The moon landing was a singular event that happened at the height of the Cold War, believing in something like Flat Earth requires you not to understand even basic notions of geology and physics that mankind has known for thousands of years. The latter strikes me as being more insane, even if the former is obviously still stupid.

The real proof is that in the midst of the cold war the USSR said "drat....nice" when they would have called out a fake forever and always. They were winning the space race before that.

The world being hollow and filled with dinosaurs is a better conspiracy theory than the faked moon landings. Mostly because dinosaurs are cool.

The first version of this that I saw was in an automotive repair shop, and involved a pneumatic impact wrench trapped under a hydraulic lift. It took about 10 seconds before someone asked, "Why not just disconnect the hose?" Took about 20 seconds for someone to ask, "Why not just raise the lift?" Work smarter, not harder!

If you're 30 seconds from your house and it starts to rain, do you go back home in shame to get an umbrella like a smart person, or do you soldier on like a MAN? (and get pneumonia like an idiot)

Agree with him. Tell him that you think they hired Stanley Kubrick to fake the moon landings but didn't save any money because Kubrick was such a perfectionist he insisted on filming on location.
