Wow, those were lightning fast responses! Thanks so much for all of that! Thanks for all the heads up, it's weird to say but that question was burning in my chest for years and I finally discovered this thread today to ask it. It sounds like I'm about to binge watch all of Best of the Worst and maybe watch the RLM videos that Vinny Vinesauce talks about every couple of weeks. I'll go in knowing that the older stuff occasionally has tasteless jokes, it's comforting to know they're all generally good natured. I'll also start following this thread in general to know who still makes these videos and is cool. Edit: It appears the one that was new at the time of me stopping watching the videos was Star Wars Holiday special. I have this vivid memory of cooking something with my brother as I watched that. ^Rich is supposed to be a self-described socialist too, I think. The problem is that he's usually playing the character of Rich Evans who's a lot grosser than he is. Watching him play through Dead Rising gives a pretty good impression of him. The only hard warning that I'd give is that one of the Wheel of the Worst has a foreign language AOL tape and it's at least 50% just Rich doing a racist Asian accent for laughs and closing it off with a bad prank call. It's probably the only bit that just aged out hard. It stuck out when I did a rewatch binge a few months back. That's a weird bit of the last decade of edgy humor that is thankfully dying out. Even if you avoid most of their Star Wars content, there’s one video you should absolutely check out and that’s the one about Darth Vader’s suit. It’s just pure comedy from start to finish, and it’s not even about Star Wars itself so much as the ridiculous fan culture that obsesses over every little detail of the franchise.

Wrestling Isn't Wrestling was also very funny and creative until several of the women involved in it came out and accused Landis of sexually assaulting and harassing them. So now it's just really gross.

I don't need RLM to validate my very important Star Wars opinions but jesus gently caress did I get tired of hearing how much they hated TLJ in every other video they made for months after. I also hate that they helped popularize the 'how lazy, its just subverting my expectations' thing which is just incredibly tiring, like a new Star Wars movie can only ever be either too similar or not similar enough to the original trilogy.
