Moved my old project car, the 1965 Ford Falcon XP ute, from my old home to the new one today. It wasn't a smooth move, since I almost bogged it in the front yard of the old place and ran out of fuel. Explains why it was misfiring and running like poo poo when I got it moving. But it is now in its new home, and it definitely needs new tyres The right rear had cracks in the side wall, but held enough air in for the 2 minute (15 actual thanks to running out of fuel) to get into the garage The angle you use if you are selling the car

I dig it as well. I like picking out the parts of the design that are consistant with my Galaxie. Round tails, horizontal bar grille, top center of fender protrusion and the centerline down the hood.

rip a hektik skid, mate! I'd love to replace my truck with a ranchero(what the falcon ute was sold as here), but i don't think my fat rear end would fit. What are your plans for it?

The Australian Falcon Utes are different to the US Ranchero as AU Falcons used the shorter sedan door, rather than the coupe door that the Ranchero used. Powershift posted:rip a hektik skid, mate! Mainly getting the rust cut out of it (there are places that sell new patch panels for it), convert the braking system to a dual circuit system instead of single circuit, get the bench seat reupholstered and replace the rear main seal on the engine. I found someone who has some new old stock rims to suit it, as the commercial range of Falcons of that era ran 5 stud wheels, whereas the wagon, sedan and coupe ran four stud. The carby has been rebuilt and the gear box and diff probably need a fluid change.

My M3 let me know it was thirsty this morning. nice and I apparently rolled over 49K miles finally on my drive in to work. Positively no way possible I would get 300 miles out of a tank.

6 speed. I was trying to find a DSG in the same trim but I figure the next time I'm in the market for a car you won't be able to get a manual.

That seems to be the colour of the year, and since my 2003 Celica TRD needed repairs it couldn't afford, it's out with the old and in with the blue. (They're both blue but you know what I mean) Yay now I can open teh trunk without it trying to bash my skull in!
