some of them I legit enjoyed even though the lag and game breaking poo poo that gets patched a year in I put a ton of hours into this one and had some fun with Blackout. I'm sure the game will have some sort of monetization scheme that I will not spend any money on. It will probably launch without any microtransactions in order to get better reviews, just like BO4 did. I'm sure at some point guns will be added to the lootboxes and they be obnoxiously OP for a week or two before they get nerfed into the ground.

I'm actually pretty pumped for the new CoD as a Battlefield player. BFV sucks hard and after hearing that they plan to have 64p modes and even a 100+ player ground war mode I'm fully in on the new CoD. Hopefully it eats DICE's lunch and make them actually try on their next outing.

Sure, but it's not like Battlefield was a slouch in number of sales even if it doesn't match CoD. BF1, my personal favorite, sold 15 million copies in its first 4 months which is pretty solid. What I mean is that Battlefield has had a lock on large scale warfare that CoD wasn't aiming for. But if the new modern warfare delivers solid 64p or 100p+ games then why bother with a lovely BFV.

It's funny that none of the major publishers seem to notice Ubisoft pulling a major turnaround on Siege. Okay I can’t lie the new gameplay is bringing back a lot of mw2/that era of cod nostalgia. It has the right feel that they seemed to have lost right when the mobility era became a thing. I don’t mean just in the movement but with everything. The gunplay, map design, ui. It all feels like a natural extension of what CoD was before.  I guess they have my attention

In turn MP turned to an unbalanced poo poo show, Zombies died a slow death, and even Blackout kinda fizzled out because the updates were far and few. Then they began removing weapons from the operations and making them supply crates only. And then they made those weapons incredibly broken and good, leaving them in the wild for a couple of weeks, then “balancing” them. It’s predatory and real loving lovely.
