I noticed that HMs arent recorded in the OP anymore so I will stop nominating them. None of last nights matches touched okada vs sanada so I guess I have no nominations to make  but for the record mox vs white and shinto vs naito were very very very good

HM - G1 Climax Night 14 [8/4] Hirooki Goto vs Jeff Cobb HOT BEEF DAD VS SEXY BEEF BOY. I still maintain that my biggest problem with Cobb in this tournament is how easily he's put on the defense by so many smaller guys. However it felt a lot less unfitting than in his match with, say, Switchblade. Fun match. MOTYC - G1 Climax Night 14 [8/4] Toru Yano vs Tomohiro Ishii Jay White vs Jon Moxley Tetsuya Naito vs Shingo Takagi Ishii continues his quest to have an unbroken G1 MOTYC streak. I love Yano matches but I hesitate to go any higher than an HM for them generally. However Big Tam refuses to let this stop him. Yano matches are generally thrilling and exciting but it's usually based on whether Yano's opponent can overcome his nonsense. However, Ishii turned it into an Ishii match by pure force of will, and Yano stepped up and delivered. Incredible stuff. Meanwhile Knife Pervert vs Death Pervert and LIJ IMPLODES were both excellent showcases of all 4 men and their differing styles complemented each other well yadda yadda yadda it was a good fuckin' night of wrestling yall.

HM: Tomohiro Ishii vs. Toru Yano, G1 Climax Night 14, 04/08 no idea how this comes across to someone who hasn't watched a load of yano matches but i am not you so HM: Shingo Takagi vs. Tetsuya Naito - NJPW G1 Climax Night 14 - 8/4 honestly my HM is all the g1 except the bulletclub multimans (modulo suzuki-gun) and half the fale matches even when it isn't SUPER GREAT it goes down real easy

Ishii vs. Yano was a great use of the best parts of each wrestler. Ishii is king. Spent minutes trying to figure out whether to MOTYC or HM this.
