worry less about that and more of the complete economic collapse that's probably going to happen anywhere from 2020-2022

bro they've been saying this every year since 2010. the economy is DEFINITELY in its last throws and there's nothing the ruling class can do to prevent the next collapse.

its funny how everyone whose plan for teh epic economic disaster failure right around the corner i swear always always involves like, camping or learning to farm or something else that sounds like a Dad's Vacation and never like, getting a recession-proof job like bartending or mailman or consignment store retail employee.

I did all that in the """boom times""" and even in a post-collapse situation I'd rather walk into the woods, and even just directly into the mouth of a bear, than go back to it

i love that theres 16 of them. you know, because one thing an elected council needs is the ability to be deadlocked by tied votes

16 NPC members plus 1 vote from YDSA = 17 votes. 17, being an odd number, makes ties less likely.

theres a pretty good reason i havent used my gi bill yet. why bother when theres going to shortly be twice as many unemployed graduates lol. instead I'm just making myself reliable enough of a manager at my pizza store so I'm likely to just get transferred even if my store closes. My franchisee survived 2009 so it's better than nothing. should probably teach myself how to make pizza dough though. it's the only step I havent actually learned

Crises are an opportunity for change. Is it any wonder that people think of the system collapsing and imagine escaping it instead of resigning themselves to a loving retail job?

the only good thing about a potential trump second term is that there won't be a recession, depression, or economic downturn of any sort during it, because the economy only runs on how good the 1% and the megacorporations feel. and as long as there's a republican in the white house, they will always feel good

as soon as parties switch, then the party's over and we should start organizing
