I will not shut up about the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. I talk about them all the time and work them into every conversation I have. I built a shrine in my room for the yellow one who died because sadly no one noticed because she died around 9/11. Wanna see it?
That whole episode was good, actually.

Honestly I didn't like that one either, but then I've never been a big fan of Roger plots that involve him being a massive douche and/or edgelord(I think I've mentioned in the past that Ricky Spanish is probably one of my least favorite episodes in the series)

I like some Roger plots, I just feel they often go too far with them, especially once they started allowing Roger to kill people

I think it's only fair that Roger gets to kill people, Stan kills people all the time when they remember he's in the CIA.

I respect your opinion, but politely disagree with it.

That said, there have been a few "Whoa! Too far!" moments for me as well. Like that one episode where that woman's husband fakes his death and Roger ends up talking her into killing herself. I know she didn't really end up dying, but I still can't watch that episode because it just feels too meanspirited. No disrespect to anyone who liked that episode, that part just really rubbed me the wrong way.

Every now and then it feels like we'd get a several episode stretch where they just took old unfinished and/or rejected scripts from out of a filing cabinet and turned them into an episode despite it clearly not being a good idea(American Fung being the most blatant example of this in my opinion)

The episode where Stan gets old has one of the best exchanges in the show ever, with the doctor who "finds that most things are true."

You've gotta at least give some props to the bathroom kill scene. Its a Christine reference and also somehow Roger fits a limo into a bowling alley bathroom.

I get that song in my head every time I go to the library. And the research song from the hot tub episode. "That's relevant... that's not relevant..."

The best part is when he falls to his death into a women's prison and a lady just looks out the window and says "A MAN!" and then that's it. It's the way she says it. Like "A MAyahn!"

Also the balloon pirate looks like an older fat me so of course he's great.

Sad puppy episodes don't bother me much. All the bird death is sadder, imo. :colbert:

Can't really give AD writers credit for that, it's an old timey cartoon thing. It's something that's popped up in old Loony Tunes, I just can't remember the exact context now.

the birds who died in the birdhouse fire.
roger's ortolan
francine battering up a baby chicken and then throwing it against the wall in anger
the CIA's clone Dodo getting struck by lightning
the baby bird that was in the runaway car with [s]a puppy and a baby but who cares[/b]

but at least nothing bad happened to Stan's budgie.
