But good luck playing 150 hours to get all the context from everyone (I'm at 95 with one route and a half). I'm really enjoying it so far but yeah definitely planning on blitzing through at least two routes on normal casual

On the other side of hour count, I'm at about 70 hours just finishing up my 2nd route. It's not long for long's sake, just as long as you want it.

In a worst case scenario, you still get a  jukebox if you hate the gameplay for some reason. Most importantly, no matter what anybody tells you, playing with scan lines off makes you a filthy heathen.

Night In The Woods is pretty much a visual novel. West of Loathing is a light RPG that has more text than your average visual novel. …Undertale is half bullet hell game, half visual novel, and some slight RPG elements.

Took advantage of the GameStop trade in deal, also noticed there was another promo where games you trade in get another 5 bucks added to their value per game over $2. So I also brought a stack of games I no longer care for or had digital versions of anyway and walked out with a new Switch and 51 bucks of credit. For some reason the clerk was really trying to sell me on the Lite saying that someone will eventually figure out getting video out which... I doubt. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo removed display encoding chips to prevent it.

You'd think they'd want to push the more expensive Switch. Or maybe that one clerk really just likes the Lite.

I really can't tell if I'm having fun with master mode in botw or not. It's like there's one difficulty modifier too many, but it also requires more from the player so it's fun in that sense. Like how this one tower was surrounded by silver lizarfos and electric wizzrobes, and I was getting one-shotted by anything that looked at me, so I started a fire on top of a hill nearby and used that and a potion to glide over everything – fun problem solving ! Floating platforms with nifty treasure and one (1) enemy – a fun bonus ! Nearly enemy being silver rank – beyond tedious.
