*smiles reptilianishly Edit: Oh new page. Recently I read Prison of Grass by Howard Adams who was a Metis marxist. Very pro Louis Riel and Metis but I found his writing on the structure of colonialism from a class based perspective to be really interesting and I agreed with a lot of it. The early chapters about how he wanted to escape from his indianness by embracing white society and the latter chapters about how Indigenous people need to collectivize in order to implement decolonization being the most relevant, in my opinion. Also very prophetic about a lot of the issues that face indigenous people today for a book written in the 70's. I think I'll try track down his other writings at some point. littleorv has issued a correction as of 20:11 on Aug 16, 2019 |

That means there was a buyer. And the Koch's are good business guys, so they pro ably made money on the deal too. This is good news for Alberta and things are looking up for the oil industry for decades to come!
