Star Wars was good at one point people. It was before most of us were born and the franchise has been beaten like Patricia Arquette in True Romance but there was a time when it wasn't tainted by the PT, the ST,the SE, or the EU.

It's too bad that Star Wars will be remembered for what it is now as opposed to what it once was.

I reckon the prequels will surpass the OT in terms of: critical acclaim, popular culture and also memes. Oh wait! They already did.

Here is my prepared watch order for before Skywalker:
Episode 1
Episode II
Episode III
Rogue One
Episode IV (?)
Episode V
Episode VI
All the episodes that have the dark emperor. Except I can't recall if he is in New Hope.

It's easy!
The Rebellion has cool gear, cool ships, and a noble and sensible cause.
The Resistance doesn't.

No matter how one loves, there are always different aims. Love can take a great many forms, whatever the era.

The difference is that the Rebels were against the actual government at the time, and the Resistance is an offshoot of the government's military that actually gives a poo poo about the rise of a fascist sect. The Force Awakens doesn't make this as clear as it should have, but it's supposed to be thematically reminiscent of the Republic.

The ending of The Last Jedi is basically the Resistance turning into the new Rebellion, as Luke straight up says.

I actually like the new poster since it has Palpatine and the dark/light side auras look cool. But none of that changes the fact that the movie will suck dick and is called, get this, The Rise of Skywalker
