Next time you are voluntarily listening to something you don’t like, stop voluntarily listening to it. Once you are comfortable with this manoeuvre you can move to more advanced techniques, like guessing whether you will like something before you begin voluntarily listening to it and using that to inform your future actions. Good luck!

The mainstream media is insanely desperate to nitpick Sanders and anything socialist-related.

When have they ever criticized politicians for citing non-peer-reviewed studies? Perhaps it's happened before, but if journalists regularly did this, there wouldn't be a whole industry of bullshit thinktanks with inoffensive names, providing politicians with ludicrously skewed policy briefs.

The study was peer reviewed. The Wapo fact checker wrote it in a misleading way to make you think it was not.

And Wapo used the same statistic in their own reporting.

But if Bernie uses the same numbers he’s a liar.

I think Chapo was short-sighted in dismissing Harris supporters as "beyond redemption." I think a lot of her supporters are people who just see "strong black woman" and don't think about it beyond that. Not all of those people are affluent, white, narcissistic Twitter libs.

I'm starting to think that Biden voters aren't worth the time. Some of them are just doing it out of name recognition, but a lot of them support him- albeit not enthusiastically- because they lack imagination that things can be any better. That's why I think a lot of Boomer liberals support him. Their entire lives have had people saying that a better world isn't possible, and it's been a long lurch to the right up to this point.

Polls don't mean much in the grand scheme of things, voter enthusiasm does, but old people have always showed up to vote regardless. That's why I have no clue who's gonna come out on top. What I will say is that Liz Warren is probably harming Biden more than Bernie, as her base consists of better-educated white liberals that would have otherwise flocked to a more establishment candidate.

Yeah, I think a lot of ordinary voters are influenced by constantly hearing media going "But are they electable?" That's a lot of Biden's supporters, and I think most will just drift away from him without having to be actively convinced.

Have a few interesting anecdotes/data points that support your thesis:

1. My blue state Republican friends are now solid Bernie supporters after being radicalized against all billionaires by Epstein. They hated Hillary and voted 3rd party in 2016.
2. My libertarian parent (voted for GWB, did not vote for Trump) is now a Warren supporter. Says that it’s obvious that Biden is losing his mind and is big on “electability” - no love for Warren or her policies but seeing her as the best hope to defeat Trump.
3. I’ve met one passionate Buttigeig supporter who was exactly as Amber described - wealthy liberal heterosexual white woman from a big city that had her bachelorette party at a gay bar.
4. People always vaguely gesture to Harris as the serious establishment candidate, especially my DC liberal friend, but have provided no reasons, policies, or enthusiasm other than a sense of triangulation towards a political center.
