I don't follow the NBA that much but it does make me wonder if there's any defensive scheme that can drop the success rate of 3-pointers.

Not anything like what you're looking for, but this question did remind me of a cool video Jon Bois did a while back:

They wasted Luanne on Lucky!

She could of have been so much more but the writers just didn't care!

quote:

Gronkowski admitted he had "mood swings" that he believes were related to brain injuries suffered on the field and told Mena he's currently doing brain exercises that include working on a 750-piece puzzle at his home.

The 30-year-old then shared a rather disturbing detail about how his head was physically affected from the repeated impacts of an NFL career.

"No lie, I felt my head, I used to have liquid," Gronkowski said. "It used to be thick, like, my head used to be thicker -- a centimeter of liquid in some spots. And you'd be like, what the heck? You could put indents in my head."

Yeesh.

Three point attempts make up 30 - 45% of attempts, so there are still more two point attempts than three. Some old-schoolers think it's ruining basketball but I don't really see it. It's almost like pass/run, if the defense sells out against the three pointer (pass) then you try to go inside (run) and vice versa. It's fun

That's not even really a 3 point defense it's a James-Harden-stepback defense crafted for him and him alone. It is absolutely hilarious too though, always make me laugh at how absurd it is

I think the main element in this is the Ravens blitzing literally every play in the preseason and all these subpar quarterbacks are just getting rocked by that. It's pretty funny actually because the opposing team's offense has plays and stuff they really want to work on but it's totally spoiled by the Ravens' "blitz every single down" strategy.

I had no idea it was 17 straight though lol

Not an exact comp but the Pats traded a 4th to move up in order to draft Dawson in the 2nd. And he played 0 snaps. That’s almost Hackenbergish.

What a garbage pick. They even traded up to select him.

It is really weird how bad they are at drafting WRs and CBs.

Yeah, latest in a long line of lovely 2nd round CB picks.

I'd feel bad about it, but they've got a really good secondary, so.... maybe just stop loving drafting 2nd round secondary guys Bill, he keeps finding decent UDFA's anyway.
