Yeah

Some people get too caught up in the game and get extremely angry but tbh chill speedruns are good and if someone is dealing with an extremely frustrating run where they just aren't having any fun then I think it is better to call it quits than to continue to do harm to yourself through playing. Nothing wrong with stopping if you aren't having fun.

update on wow race: people who opted for dungeon grinding are going way slower than they thought. an aoe grinding mage might win, which was always a dark horse strategy because people thought it was only viable on the private servers with less advanced mob AI. Currently a hunter is in the lead: this guy https://www.twitch.tv/ahmpy is having fun speedrunning by being awake since monday evening.

does classic allow you to do the group up/drop group to reset dungeons? because even as someone that barely played wow that's the no brainer strategy - my brother got from 50-60 in no time by grouping with me over and over again from across the world to aoe down some trash at one of the entrances to dire maul.

You can reset dungeons infinitely I'm pretty certain. This is what <Method> is going because their goal is to get enough classes to raid as quickly as possible and warriors are godawful solo. They will probably be more effective than questing/grinding at the later levels because quests tend to peter out as you get closer to the end, but every dungeon based group seems to be far behind from what I can tell. I doubt they'll catch up. When you have high level players grinding mobs for you it's definitely the fastest strategy. I'm rooting for the hunter questing strat because it's by far the most interesting as a speedgame and if you're into things like RPG routing (my fave type of speedgame) it is pretty fascinating

yeah i wasn't certain but i was 99 percent sure you could reset dungeons with no limit back then since like i said my brother did it to get from somewhere in the 50s to 60 in an afternoon.

what kind of brain disease do you have to have to get all the classes to max level?

New Summoning Salt video is dope, but I personally don't like SMB1 speedruns. I don't have a problem with the speedrun itself or anything but frame rules kinda suck :(

Yeah this happens a lot in Summoning Salt's videos but I only really noticed when I watched a lot of his backlog consecutively. Imagine him sitting down 60-Minutes style with the reclusive dahoopgawd is pretty funny

for the longest time i thought they were saying "frame roll" as in it rolled over. wasn't until i watched one of these videos where it said "frame rule" on screen that i got that.

Some folks also hate SRC enough that they don't upload scores there so the only place to find the actual WR is the title of a youtube video.
