Salah was being pretty selfish in the 2nd half but one could make the argument that a player of his capability in that position could easily score. He had one luckily saved and another hit the post. He was probably just desparate to get on the score sheet. Mane was justified in being pissed off though. They will have a bare knuckle fight in Klopps basement to determine the true champion and all will be good.

It is a bit odd to me that Mane isn't more of the main guy for Pool. Obviously the front 3 are all great quality, but Mane is the only one who I feel like will always score when he has a chance. Maybe that is limited viewing or a function of how good he is specifically running in behind/on the counter, but Salah seems to take a lot more chances to get his goals. At least from the limited eye test.

Salah was obviously amazing the season before last and is now reverting to the mean (which as you said is still quality), however I think people still view him as the main man because of that season, even though I'd agree that currently and for most of last season, Mane was much more dangerous and clinical with his runs and finishing. I just hope Klopp can manage them well enough so Mane doesn't get too frustrated and want to go somewhere where he'd be undisputed top dog. Salah does need to realise that he's not going to score 40 goals every season and play his loving teammates in though.
