There are multiple scenes in The Uninvited where they dub in constant meowing because the cat just sits there like cats do. Also Clu Gulagher wearing Mickey Rooney’s false teeth from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

What's funny is that it is also about an alien that crashes in Scotland and wants to breed with the locals, it's just pure scifi instead of scifi-horror. We got that movie in for rent at Blockbuster in the 90s, under the title "Breeders", and it had a very fancy embossed slipsleeve that was a shot of the monster.
