Enzo's schtick in NXT was run his mouth at his opponents, he did it very well imo. Then he also got the poo poo beat out of him which was also alright.

Having a catchphrase isn't bad. Your catchphrase being the only thing you can say or it being the meat of your promo every week is bad. Particularly when you aren't actually on TV every week so people don't even get to be familiar with your catchphrase which is what will happen to all these people.

It's a shame because Road Dogg could actually pull off a good promo on the occasion that he put some actual effort into it. I don't know how much of that was on him not wanting to improvise more, or on management telling him to go out, do his routine, and drop the mic to keep the show moving. EDIT: In contrast, I'm not sure if Konnan had that same ability. rujasu fucked around with this message at 14:57 on Sep 4, 2019 |

The only good thing Enzo did on the main roster was, I think, on their debut when he told D-Von that Big Cass was gonna punch him hard enough to put that lazy eye back to work.

I've got a hypothetical question about The Invasion. Let me lay out a few qualifiers first: 1) Somehow, Vince decided not to be an egomaniac and actually utilized the WCW wrestlers appropriately. 2) Those high-profile wrestlers who didn't come over in the initial Invasion were eventually signed under lucrative contracts and were also utilized appropriately. 3) Vince also decides to see past his egomania in favor of success, and actually books The Invasion to be an interesting tug of war between two rival companies — which WWE still wins, but it doesn't make WCW look terrible. Okay, assuming all of the above had actually taken place in lieu of our reality, who would have been the most valuable WCW acquisition overall? And not just in the immediate sense either. Who would've had the most valuable long-term career?
