He isn't missing throws because his shoulder is injured. He's missing throws because he's done that his entire career. He's never been an elite passer, but he had the run game to always loosen up the defense and make every throw easier. He now does not run at all, either by his own choice or by the coaching staff. Maybe they think his health is hanging on by a thread, so they're protecting him. Without running, his career is essentially over. Tonight feels like the twilight of Jake Delhomme's career. You know it's over, and it hurts.

Seemed different than what Rams gave them? rams switched stuff up all game, but mostly spied cam and took away the deep ball. its the same thing wade did in denver; take away the deep routes and wait for the protection to die down. this game they just doubled cmc all night, but it shouldnt have mattered there were open receivers all ngiht tonight. samuel could not be covered. cam just can't make the throws anymore.

He's also not rotating his shoulders through a throw correctly. He's short arming and body throwing. It takes the timing, velocity and accuracy off everything.

Also I had a vision last night that we're going to lose the Super Bowl by scoring the go-ahead TD with 6 seconds left and giving up the greatest Hail Mary of all time. It will be the high point of the Patriots long run of Super Bowls and the No. 1 play in NFL history until people stop playing football. They're gonna build statues of Julian Edelman high-pointing it over a confused PJ Williams.
