Dick Jones posted:What are the odds of either a Stromberg or an Akula sale in the near future? It looks like the last time these were discounted was Feb/Mar 2018. Or do Doomsday vehicles rarely get discounts because R* wants people to buy facilities? Both of these were in the recent sets of twitch prime discounts, so not slim as regular discounts? But also not going to be the best possible discounts on account of them having dozens of other options to cycle through. That said both of those are worth whatever you pay.

Switching nightclubs was less painful than anticipated with the discount + trade in price. I now have a spicy Vinewood nightclub along with a Pounder Custom in the garage. With the new location I was able to grab some last-minute business battle crates that took way less time to deliver to the club than they would have if I'd stayed on Elysian frickin' island.

It's now the games most expensive non-weaponized ground vehicle. It's very fast, AWD, and handles pretty well! Emerus / Krieger are the two newest and fastest laptime supercars and are on par with each other. Deveste 8 is still the better stunt racer due to higher top speed. Just to give some old-heads some idea, current gen Sports-class cars are faster than a majority of the older supercars, so Rockstar has turned up the speed on new supercars to justify multi-million pricetags. If anyone does any super-racing at all and don't already own an Emerus or Krieger, you might need to look into them to remain competitive.

Basically this is a Bugatti Chiron Haven't R* also recently tweaked or removed some of the internal flags that regulate car handling and speed? I know some of the cars ~feel~ faster and more sensitive when driving them but im like 95% free roam so not sure how they handle with racing on track conditions. In the city you cant really tell the diff between most of the top end cars

So I finally went hard on properties and entered into that MMO grind loop but could use a little advice on what I should do next? I had about 3mil from various promotions and stuff before and the free penthouse + casino missions drew me back in, so I ended up getting; -A high-end apartment just to store vehicles, because it was still cheaper than the casino garage-add on by about $850k -An office with a small crates warehouse -A bunker with all the supply upgrades (it was on sale) -A nightclub (also on sale) with two technicians eking out a meager profit I know I probably went somewhat out of order but what should my next purchase be? I only have about 1.3mil and I'm not sure if I should get an MC club for the passive nightclub income (I assume the businesses are pricier than than club's 200k price by a bit), a vehicle warehouse, or what? I dont even own a helicopter or anything and I've never done any heists

Vehicle warehouse is pretty easy money, and if you do it right you can only source high end cars for maximum profit. Stacking motorcycle businesses for the nightclub is great if you play a lot or afk overnight.

I'd say either a vehicle cargo warehouse or a Terrorbyte. As for Terrorbyte add-ons, I use the drone fairly often for client missions (which pay about 20-30K each for fairly easy jobs), but I almost never use the missile battery, and so far I've only used the built-in workshop to upgrade my combat MG. Ultimately, you don't need missiles or the drone to successfully do the client missions. The body counts will just be higher and you might get an additional star at times.

I dont even own a helicopter or anything and I've never done any heists Pretty much on the right track to easy street. As stuff goes on sale, pick up some motorcycle businesses(cheapest option, dont worry about upgrading) and more night club techs, along with additional warehouse floors at the night club Since you have the small crate warehouse, run through a few cycles of that to see how much $$ it makes you- the best plan is to do three x (3) crate buys so you get 9 crates, and then sell that to almost guarantee a single vehicle sale Same thing with the bunker, do a couple rounds of stealing supplies, steal one, let it turn to product and sell that, then do it with 2 stealing supplies etc, see if that works better than buying? Buying is 75k and takes about 2 hours to percolate into sellable product, sells for about 220k, so thats ~150k of profit that is just bookending 2 hours of gameplay doing other stuff. Get in, see what needs supplies or crates, F around for a bit, then sell whats been made and thats like a full night, before even getting into discussions about AFK tips and crippling gambling addictions

There are 32 different cars you can source. If you do 32 in a row youll get one of each, they dont start repeating until then. So if you get all 32 cars yo ucan sell one, and then the next car you source is guaranteed to be that same model. Sell high end cars and then youre guaranteed to keep sourcing high end cars
|
# ? Sep 13, 2019 20:47 |

Thats also the best way to work on collections. Since you know what car you need to complete a set, sell it and source until you get the one w the right plate. Since theyre free to source, youll know immediately if its one you want or can just blow it up and source again in a few minutes to try for the right plate Collection car sales are a good way to "gift" money to other players too. (just using round numbers here but pretty close) Take one of the 4 car collections for example, if you sell all 4 at once it will say like $200k commission + $50k bonus. The boss gets that $200k minus crashes no matter what. Each car that is delviered is worth 50k bonus TO THE PERSON WHO DRIVES IT INTO THE CIRCLE. Normally this would be 4 people each driving a car, so each player would get a 50k bonus. If you want to give that bonus to another player, stop before the circle and get out, let them get in and finish the delivery, now they're getting 100k bonus(50 for the first car and 50 for the second). it'd be possible to let the same person drive all 4 in and collect $200k bonus just on vehicles, and the boss is still getting his 200k Fart.Bleed.Repeat. fucked around with this message at 20:54 on Sep 13, 2019 |

Wolfsheim posted:So I finally went hard on properties and entered into that MMO grind loop but could use a little advice on what I should do next? The order I used and would recommend is very generally High-End Apartment to unlock the original Heists and give you some seed money for an Armored Kuruma or Buzzard and your CEO Office CEO Office, Maze Bank West costs only 1M Vehicle Warehouse, La Mesa costs 1.5M and is right by a highway exit Bunker MC Businesses (only Coke, Meth, Cash and all three in Sandy Shores; both Weed and Documents are poor uses of your money so I ignored them and never bought) A Special Cargo Warehouse, ideally the cheapest one in the game to allow you to accrue Cargo goods in your Nightclub Nightclub, getting five Nightclub Warehouse Technicians to generate goods from Cargo, Bunker, Coke, Meth, Cash. Buy a Pounder Custom for your Nightclub, do not buy a Mule Custom. Sleekly posted:Whats the vehicle trick? Something about the last 2 spots I think? There are 32 possible unique cars that you can source, though some have variants you can mostly ignore. 10 Standard, 10 Mid-Range, and 12 Top Range cars. If you have one of each of the Standard and Mid-Range cars in your Warehouse, you will only source Top Range cars, guaranteed, because the game will not give you duplicate cars until you have them all. THe only way for you to mess that up is if you complete a set of the 1-32 cars, then source a new dupe, say Car 1B, then sell Car 32A. At that point the game thinks you are working on two sets of cars again and will just give you whatever, which you want to avoid.

Wolfsheim posted:-A bunker with all the supply upgrades (it was on sale) - Optionally wait for a 2x $ week, you'll get almost $2mil for a full bunker. $1.8 I think with no bonus - It's pretty possible to do full bunker missions by yourself. Start the mission, and it will give you sometimes 4 vehicles with 15 minutes and you are hosed, so just do find new session. Basically there are missions where it gives you only 3 drops (as opposed to 15, randomly), so there is time to do it yourself. The bunker doesn't lose much value when you do 'find new session' so you can do this like 10 times without losing too much. Takes a long time to fill up though. Also on the bunker always it's always better to buy research because you get more value from selling.

Pontificating rear end posted:That's a lot of value, it took me a while to get that stuff together back before the big sales. Bunker is EZ money #1 if you ask me, here's what I do: Bunker stats assuming full upgrades: Supply purchase cost 75k 140k for each 20%, so 700k for a full bunker Each 20% takes 2h 20m to fill up and 10 minutes for supplies to arrive, so 2h30m total of time you must be in Freeroam mode. Sell value (always sell to Los Santos): 210k for each 20%, 1.05m for a full bunker 420k and 2.1m during a 2X week like the one we just had This equates to 135k profit on the sale even when buying Supplies, assuming no High Demand bonus. If you close application to get a new bunker sale you lose 1% of the bunker's value (140k becomes 133k) I personally would only sell single vehicles solo even with the Chumash bunker, and tbh most of the time people don't bother going after Gunrunning sales anyway. If I ever get stock accumulating I'll enlist help from the Discord. You get a 1% bonus per rival player in the lobby when the sale is completed (the High Demand bonus), so I always try to sell in a lobby with at least 10 rival players. It's honestly easier than it sounds, even with a dumb sale like the 5 Dune Buggy drop. When selling solo, always be a CEO so you can use Ghost Organization. 3 minutes of total invisibility is more than enough time to get the Phantom Wedge from Chumash down to the docks, for example. Ghost Organization costs $12k to use , which if you're selling a single vehicle in a lobby with even 6 other players in it, will be paid for by the multiplier you get at the end. When selling in a group, you can still be a CEO, or be in an MC if you want your friends to get a 30k bonus for helping you sell. I spend most of my time solo and the Bunker is a super easy way to make reliable money. You can mix in Vehicle import/export and VIP missions to get more cash while you wait for your Bunker to fill up to 20%, and those don't get a multiplier for more players in-lobby. The High Demand bonus on a 2.1m bunker is 21k per rival player, which if you have a squad of goons helping you sell is a very realistic thing and free money. You should experiment to find the method that works best for you though
