It's a p solid album, not sure where to place it yet compared to pop2 and esp N1A

Still like the mixtapes better. I don't know if it's because she stacks collabs all the time but the solo ones on the album stuck out to me most. I was kind of let down a bit honestly. The singles/promo lead ups have been out of my rotation, so it was kinda smart to include them first. Wish "Click" didn't have Tommy Cash on it, low point of Pop 2 and a low point here.

It's weird I really like PC Music and what they do but my favorite Charli work is still Number 1 Angel. It's the most restraint and traditional pop output she has but it's just so consistent.

New Charlie's Angels video with Arianna, Miley, and Lana out yesterday. Such a weird combo with Lana added-on, but she does a double bridge and is the only memorable part of it. Seems liked they reigned in Ari and Miley puts in a decent job. It's just a weird combo, feels like three songs tacked on badly, and a Bad Blood Lite video.

White Mercedes is good but Silver Cross is so much better (of the songs previously unreleased). 2099 is a close second but it was released just barely before release.

This album is really good. Definitely will hold me over until Tove Lo next week.

Edit: Speaking of Tove Lo, lyric video's out for her new single.

the new Alex Cameron album might be my album of the year. I've been listening to the singles for months and the whole album did not disappoint.

Carly shook her glass, willing the ice to melt. "You still haven't told me what the mission is."

She leaned forward. "We are going to assassinate the bad men of Hollywood."

I'm super late to the party on this but Heard It in a Past Life by Maggie Rogers has got to be one of my favorite albums of the year. I heard of her first at Newport Folk in July and have been listening to her during my morning commute nearly every day since then. Almost every track is just killer and I can't believe it didn't get more 9s and 10s from the critics.

That sounds very dated to me, like adult contemporary from the 90s/Lilith fair vibe.

Have some highly illegal footage of CRJ performing a bit of Store at Saturday's show. The crowd was great and drat if it wasn't a fun show!
Oh yeah first like 30 seconds are the floor so enjoy that, but it has her intro to the song.

2099 video sucks, they're trying to spin it like the world will be underwater by then. It should have had a futuristic video.

I think I'm going to have to give the new Charli album a few listens. I think I was expecting more tracks to bang as hard as Gone but the overall production is way more mellow and maybe 1-2 songs overlong. Silver Cross is my favorite of the ones that weren't already released.

People were seriously mad she didn't play any fan hits like "Unlock It" and "Girls Night Out", etc. I kind of like her touring the album, not any artist I can think of do every track off the album they're touring, so I like her approach even if it doesn't cater to fans.

Due to fan outrage because she didn't play it the first night of the tour, that's what I was getting at -- people wanted the fan hits and deeper cuts and were very vocal about it after the first show.

? I'm just saying that Twitter, Popheads, Lanaboards, etc. all went nuts over the fact she didn't play it the first night that there were tons of verbal abuse thrown at Charli by her own fans and that's why she's playing it now. I have no stake in it or care.
