i'm not woke, i'm a woman irl and men randomly hating me for no reason has been a thing i've experienced and contemplated at great length. perhaps it's neurological, perhaps it's learnt behaviour, but men trust and value the testimony of other men more than women from a very early age unless they're specifically taught not to do so. if sexism wasn't innate to men, it would be confined to only some cultures - but it's not, it's global, and there's no other way to explain that
