I really like this comic because it's a creepy ghost story with fun visuals, and I'd love to see more comics that do that. The best scary stories are short.

I was making a joke about the cats landing on their feet (although they do always do that, seriously you can just grab a random cat and throw it if you think I'm wrong) The real thing is after about 3 stories they've been falling long enough they relax a little and spread out creating more air resistance so their descent slows and they don't hit the ground as hard. Inverse square law is a bitch and a half, but if it's a skinny cat it's probably safer falling off the 9th balcony than the 4th.

Cats that fall from a great height also tend to hurt or break their jaws when their suspension bottoms out from the fall. Thats why falling cats put their head in a weird "back and up" position when falling.
