the one TINY defense i'll have for Pim is that RT scores are kind of misleading. if i saw an 82% for something, i would assume that's the average, but clearly it's not. it provides the wrong impression for how people are trying to gauge a movie's quality. but of course, i'm not the one with a million youtube subs who is getting needlessly mad and yelling conspiracies over poo poo like this

Like, it's an open fact of reviews for anything that a big part of it is whether it subjectively worked for the reviewer, and reviewers are always going to be a narrow subset of the people consuming something.
