Articulate your needs. I'm here to listen.

Why are the colors in the circle different orders? I thought maybe they were going descending order clockwise, but that is not how "homemakers" is laid out.

Edit: so, the upper-right color is the largest chunk, and aligns with the person at the top of the column. They must have cherry-picked the categories to find the same amount for each candidate, which would explain the nearly repeat categories.

It's a bunch of pie charts of donor makeup by profession. Each color theoretically matches the key up top, if it had the full list of candidates showing on the chart. It's arranged in descending magnitude, you know, like a pie chart. Except for when it's not. You know, like bad pie charts.

I say bad pie charts like there might be good ones, maybe I've been in this thread too long.

It says Obama supports them all, but not equally.

Which is probably true, but I'd bet he's more of a Warren man.

Possibly, but he obviously has a lot of personal affection for Biden, which is a good reason to stay out of it.

My power company sent me this as part of my usage overview for the past company. "Maanden" means months. I wonder what it'll be like when I've lived here for 2 full years.

You only use electricity one month a year?

My power company sent me a warning that my power consumption had more than doubled!

Because the apartment wasn't using any power before I moved in so it went from 0 to something.

Capitol: A building or complex of buildings in which any legislature meets.
Capital: A city designated as a legislative seat by the government or some other authority, often the city in which the government is located; otherwise the most important city within a country or a subdivision of it.

Wow that's...well everything else with the presentation that people mentioned is wrong but there's also the minor issue it's classist as gently caress. You have "teacher" "unemployed" "retired" oh and "homemaker" and then a giant pile of high-earning and/or high-prestige jobs. Nothing about the warehouse workers, the truck drivers, the food service folks, the retail workers. Nope it's about "presidents" "executives" and "CEOs", using basically the same group 3 times.

No the x-axis was also used as a kind of histogram, or something. I moved in july of last year, but I guess the meter was connected a couple months before that.

I extremely want to see a band of furious suffragettes reach into their petticoats (or trousers or whatever the revolutionary garb was) and pull out their improvised weapons

And then one's just brandishing a revolver and they're all like "Holy poo poo Helen"

I'm more interested in the hitherto unsuspected existence of the stove lid lifter. It does make a lot of sense that such a thing would have existed and presumably would be a lovely hefty bit of cast iron that would make a good weapon in a pinch

my grandma's stove when i was a kid had one of these. it probably would have been a decent weapon but the balance was kinda weird. my hands were way smaller then, though, so maybe it'd be fine for an adult

Nah all the heft is in the handle so that when you picked up a lid it balanced halfway decently, without the counter balance from the lid it'd be hard to use as a weapon if held normally.

I don’t understand what the blue triangle is supposed to represent. Obviously the y-axis position of each thing represents how accepted it is by society at large, but does being inside vs. outside the triangle mean anything?
