Here's what they told reporters about the complaint:

Oklahoma Sen. James Lankford and North Dakota Sen. John Hoeven each said they were in appropriations mark-ups and hadn’t yet read the full complaint.
Indiana Sen. Mike Braun said he hadn’t read it either, adding that he didn’t know about the allegations to “lock down” information at the White House. Braun went on to say that he didn’t feel the complaint would change Republican’s views of impeachment, and said the Democrats had made a mistake starting an impeachment inquiry before knowing more about the complaint.
Tennessee Sen. Lamar Alexander said he has not read it the complaint. “I’m waiting for the intelligence committee to finish its work."
Ohio Sen. Rob Portman said he said he’s been “running around” all day and hasn't read it and would not comment.
Arkansas Sen. Tom Cotton said “no comment” twice and boarded a senators-only elevator when asked if he was concerned the White House was locking down information.
Missouri Sen. Roy Blunt, a member of the Senate Intelligence Committee, said “I’ll have a better idea of how credible he is later this afternoon" when asked if he is concerned about the strong allegations from a credible whistleblower.
Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, a Republican from Florida, told reporters he has read the whistleblower’s complaint, and says he has “more questions than answers.”

I mean, yeah, Trump is just a miasma of corruption. The good news is that the longer these investigations go on the less harm the admin can do because they have to turtle so it honestly behooves us to drag them on as long as possible to sweep up as many criminals as possible.

It's extremely unlikely, but only because Trump can't think in complex enough terms to appreciate the kind of damage he can do with his power- he's too angry and too hyper-focused on impeachment now.

From his mental perspective (what little of it can be said to exist) they are coming to take away his most precious possession (power). Those hateful pricks and liars and deceivers (and losers etc etc) are trying to take away everything that belongs to him, because he was so much better than them. (Well he'll show them.)

It's much more likely that Trump successfully incites some of his followers into committing either assassination attempts and/or terror attacks.

Old from yesterday but the way Trump referred to the Ukraine call as a "perfect call" has me thinking he views these things as like some interaction that can be graded like one of those interactions in an RPG like Fire Emblem.

"Nailed It! Full Points! The Best Topics! Perfect Tea Time! Confidant Rank Up! Had Zelensky giving me the googly eyes at the end, Sparkles all around em'! Even offered em' a gift at the end but he was already satisfied! Pure Magic!"

Obviously it's because he doesn't understand descriptive language and context at all and has to exaggerate the poo poo out of everything to try to turn it into some self-aggrandizing personal accomplishment but still funny.
I picture Trump's internal life to be more like Cooking Mama. Every action in his life takes less than a minute and then in his head he hears, "Perfect! Even better than Obama!"

Yes, every action.

I think I heard that the anonymous whistleblower (through his lawyers) has started a legal defense fund under the assumption that someone will leak his identity once he talks to congress in secret and Trump sends his lawyers after him.
