If they attempt to impeach with only 30% republican support the other 70% would be very quickly showing up at their offices with their AR's to dissuade them of that

W got down to nearly 25% only a decade ago But then again, part of that was that nobody felt they had to defend him to win the presidency again. If he was able to run a third time, more Republicans would have convinced themselves to vote for him.
