We had not left it yet, but when I would wake in the night, I would lie, listening, homesick for it already.

The UCI should supply black rain capes with country flags on them for all the teams. It's dumb having a mix of national and club kit

Alternatively: make them race in the kit of their home cycling club

Well the flipside is if you're going to sign him you're taking the risk on of your star riders is going to storm out of a race because he doesn't like the sponsor you had to take to keep your team going

You might have to sign him on a funky contract, sure. But he's got the stripes. Someone will roll those dice.

The text on screen said there would be a loss of pictures at 11:50 GMT. I'm poo poo at timezones, but I'm pretty sure that was 50 minutes ago?

If you ever need to know anything like that just type whatever time and timezone it is into Google and it'll tell you what that is in your local time

Yeah GMT doesn't do daylight savings, but England does. So they're in BST which is GMT+1, while Europe is in UTC+2 which is just the new way of saying GMT+2.

I'd think the motos going through town would be able to beam to the static relays as well.

Still, they have lots of replays to look at now.
