Sekiro isn't goty because it's the second worst game in that series imo but I think it'll get a lot of love during end of year stuff. For me right now top 5 is around: 1) Control 2) Dusk 3) Shadowbringers 4) Dusk 5) FE 3H

Fave games of 2019 so far have been Control, A Plague Tale, Mortal Kombat 11, Amid Evil, Bloodstained, DMCV, and then probably everything else. Very eclectic year!

Sekiro didn't have the staying power because it didn't have PVP or Fashion Souls or significantly varied builds. I didn't play a ton of it and I really want to play more.

I tried to make a list but I really didn't play very many games this year since I was busy with IRL stuff and Destiny 2 was good again. Control and Sekiro are the only ones I have strong memories of that were actually released in 2019.

Sekiro will probably end up being my #1 game from this year. Cold Steel 3 might beat it but I've got so much baggage around the release of that game that I'm not as excited about it as I should be. Hopefully the game itself will work its magic on me regardless.
