Complications posted:The problem is that we used to have a polar cell, but nowadays it's more of a tri-quadracell that high pressures blow through pretty easily so all of that cold air that used to be contained in the arctic is blowing everywhere. sounds like they should publically take over the utility, create a state fund for insurance claims separate from the utilities funds for operations and capital improvements/repairs to the grid but im just a internet guy from 2000 miles away where it still rains. they probably know what they are doing by making them pay 11 billion in insurance before worrying about fixing anything or moving away from fossil fuels.
