It's more in the vein of that mythical stereotypical isekais that get referenced a lot.

I read the two chapters of this and the cover pic is basically the straightest the lord character ever ends up lookin. There's quite a few panels where he looks gayer by several orders of magnitude. I'm in for the duration, in other words.

The Honzuki/Ascendance of a Bookworm anime is out and it looks like some of you guys were right; the Ferdinand stuff from the trailer is a framing device. That means maybe it won't be compressing 130 chapters into a handful of episodes after all. Haven't watched it yet though. edit: hah looks like they actually address that too; the aftercredits sequences are Ferdinand's commentary about the episode, and she tells him "you don't even show up until--" then gets cut off. A member of AKB48 dies and is reincarnated in the mid 20th century in the UK. She takes the world by storm with 21st century jpop tunes. One of the early scenes consists of her singing an AKB song on the street, and a huge crowd forms, in awe at this beautiful music unlike anything they have ever heard. Among them is a record producer, en route to meet with the Beatles. They change their plans.

Even though the novel of that is really quite short, so there's actually a chance that a manga could get to the end, unlike most of these. Or maybe that's why they only did it as a preview?

The Mourning Noble Girls are essentially a group of noblewomen assassins-hiding-in-plain-sight that get bloody revenge for women who have had their engagement unfairly annulled. They visit without informing Rachel, so Sofia, Rachel's maid and head of Rachel's own shadowy forces, has to deal with them. Rachel basically hosts a Chippindale's show, which gathers most of the noble women including The younger Prince, Rachel's new fiance, has a huge submissive streak. He loves being ignored, degraded and forgotten about. Essentially, there will be no King. Rachel will be Queen and head of the country whether she wants it or not. It looks like they're going to do up till end of Book 1, which is a good ending point. It'll be hilarious though, because Ferdinand will probably only appear in the last or second last episode when they're treating him as one of the main characters..
